As per CIC, it is not mandatory to show POF for Inland applicants. If you have already shown the funds it is good. in my view it can be withdrawn.

That's totally wrong. As per CIC, you do not have to show that you have these funds if:
you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.
So if you applied without a job offer supported by LMIA or if you don't have work permit, you still need POF. Officer may ask you for POF at the time of landing.
