Hi All,
I am from India.
I am doing the PR processing through an agent and my file was sent to Sydney, NS on November 29th 2009.
Please let me know what will be the next step and what response I will hear from CIC, NS.
Thanks,
Laxmikanth
Nova Scotia Only do screening of applications. once applications are through the screening stage, then the case is transfered to your local CHC which takes care of your area of residence. You have to submit PCC, IELTS, Proof of funds to Local CHC,, ur local CHC again do exhasusitive checks on your applications, if your case is ok then RPRF, PP, MEdicals are requested...
It will take around 60 days to get a AOR from Nova Scotia. If u succeed then they will give u a 120 days deadline to arrange all the required docs to send to local visa office. Read cic.gc.ca website checklist for the visa office u have mentioned and start arranging all the required docs without wasting ur time.
Thank you very much for the responses.
Is there a way to check whther my application was received by NS office. My agent has sent the documents and is there a way to check myself if they have received.
Regards,
Laxmikanth

Does anyone know from which stage we can start seeing the status online.
Upon receiving the AOR from NS, a reference number will be assigned for your immigration case. you may use the reference number in checking your application status in the CIC website.
