FSW 14 - What to do after sending application ?

Dear Friends

I Mailed my app on 11 June 14 and it got received in nova scotia on 18 June 14.

Now what should I do ?

I sent in DD, how will i know if it has been encashed ? Since its DD the local bank here cannot tell us this, because amount is already debited when we make the DD . . . .

Will CIC notify us if there is problem with DD ?


When should I expect PER ? Will CIC send me PER motification on email or phone ?

Has anyone here received PER yet from FSW 2014 ?

Please need some senior to answer these properly

Yes - people have received PER. But only those who applied in early May. If you sent your application at the start of June - you probably still have a full month to wait before you hear anything. There's nothing you can do but wait.

If there was a problem with your payment CIC will return your application to you. There shouldn't be a problem cashing a DD but matters could include e.g. wrong payee, expiry of draft etc.

You will get a notification of PER through e-mail if you specified an e-mail address on your application. Not by phone.
