hi there
i applied for immigration from Jordan 2 years ago under skilled category, i got my file number 2 weeks after application, then i moved to Saudi arabia to work there & i am still in Saudi arabia.
the time of processing from Damascus office was 48-62 months, i have just reviewed their official site to find that the processing time was changed to be between 63 & 71 months. i asked the office to transfer my application to London office but they refused.
what can i do to accelerate my processing time other than waiting, it will a very long time & i hope that it will not be prolonged later.
hey there
i heard that the new process of immigration includes that all the new applications will go directly to Canada to be processed there without going to the relevant visa office of an area?
is that true?
& if yes hw does this affect my application processing time?
I'm not sure about applications going to canada, but its confirm if your NOC is under new 38 list, then you will get priority and you case would speed up. good luck

Unless the transfer of the file "enhances the Immigration Program" and office will usually refuse to transfer. In the OP case s/he probably has spend most of his/her working life in Jordan and that is where the office will do most the background checking, as the move to another country has been of short duration.
file can be transfered only in the case that you justify why you wanted to do so.ofcourse they will not accept since the processing time in one CHC is slowere than other CHC.Anyhow by the new rule the processing is faster these days.So I believ now they might ask for your documentation update at any time
i forgot to mention that my occupation is medical, i am a psychiatrist so do u think that i am included in the new 38 list?? the included job title is specialist physician!! so does this include psychiatrist? & from where can i get the job description of the title specialist physician?
in this case if i withdraw my old application & apply a new one it would be much faster for me!!! coz if my old application remain in damascus office then it will take another 2-3 years at least to be processed, while new application is supposed to be much faster??
can somebody advise me plz?
is that true?? coz if it is true then this is totally unfair for ppl who have old applications in buisy offices like damascus or delhi
