I applied to y local visa office in Kingston, Jamaica from September 2007. I got my AOR in March 2008. In
Feburary 2009 I received a letter to send in a new application and documents within 120 days. In sent all those requirements on April 27,2009. April 2010 will be one year and from that time till now i have heard any nothing. Can you please give an update.

Send an e mail to local visa office, mentioning ur name, DOB and file number, you can mail them if they take no steps in 3 months time, they will not mind ur mail and will + vely respond, ask for the progress

Have you ever sent them email and asked about the progress of your application?Regards.

I applied under the old system as a lab techical assistant and a data entry clerk.

The OP is within the processing times for 80% of the applications at Kingston, 25-32 months. So it is unlikely that they will reply.
