LANDED..........

I'm still waiting for scarborough cic to send me landing letter, she said that there is a 2 month wait :o :o
Got my letter for decision made on April 15, and probably have to wait another month to get a landing date, and then another 2-3 month to get my PR card, its been a very long process for me, dont know what to do, as i want to travel on August 10 to go to a family event

You still can leave and arrive using your landing papers attached to your passport.

No - not always. This works for US land border crossings. But if you hold a non visa exempt passport and need to fly, the airline won't let you on the plane back to Canada. You'll need to apply for a travel document from outside of Canada.

It worked in our case, I guess the rules have changed.

I believe you hold a visa exempt passport - is that correct? If so, that would be why.
