Hi all, hoping you can help. My friend is applying for a TRV from Brazil but has visited Spain and has obtained residency there due to family ties. Would it be beneficial to mention this (as Spain is a more "trusted" country) or would this weaken his tie to Brazil in the eyes of CIC and arouse suspicion? He's just coming for a couple of weeks.
Thanks!
Hi,
He must demonstrate that he has ties to both Brazil and Spain (residency/PR, employment, property ownership, lease agreement, family ties, finances/financial investments.... in both countries, previous travel history, etc).
Cheers
Living in an eTA country is irrelevant if he doesn't have a passport from that country. Else, what Bryanna said.
