So I have been an international student studying in Canada for almost 5 years. Just became a landed PR last week.
Now I don't have my PR card yet, since I have to wait for 2 months till it be mailed to me. But I do have a PR landed paper (or whatever it called)
Before I became a PR, I had applied a US visitor visa. It is still valid right now. It won't expire until 2014.
Just wondering if I could travel to the U.S. right now? I don't have my PR card yet, but I do have the landed paper. I also have a U.S. visa (but was applied as an international student). Is there any difference between traveling by air and bus?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
Thank you in advance!!!

1. You have a valid US visa, PR doesn't change that, you will always require a US visa, until you become a Canadian citizen.
2. It doesn't matter how you travel, BUT returning to Canada, you will may have problems boarding a flight returning to Canada without a PR card. You can travel with just the COPR if the conveyance is non commercial.
So I won't have any problem going out of Canada or entering the U.S. right?
I guess I can't take a coach canada or bus like that back to Canada then? Since they count as "commercial transportation"
But I will be fine if I drive by myself or my friend drive me to the U.S.?
