I just realized since I was granted refugee status that the format of my name was not correct. I have no given name listed but my family name is my first middle and last name (for example say my name was Will Jackson Paul - the given name on my PR card is blank and my family name is listed as Will Jackson Paul). I want to change the format of my name which will require a legal name change. I am due to apply for Canadian citizenship in one month. I cannot believe I just realized this mistake now.
I am currently a resident in Ontario. Do I have to legally change my name in Ontario first then reapply for PR afterwards? Please advise.
