Format of IELTS General Test

Hi Folks,

I plan to take IELTS test on 25-Sep and was wondering if we can document the entire format (in brief) so that it helps everyone understand what they will see. I am just looking for the high level format like how it started, an overview of different sections etc.

Hope to get some positive responses from the seniors and experienced and I hope this post will help, not just me, but lots of folks who plan to take this test in near future...

It is better to refer to previous ielts test paper to get an overview. Important amongst all is to practise ...
