Form 5540 Q 8 and 9? (please help!!)

hi my wife is sponsoring me from pakistan, she had a few questions about her form.

ques 8 asks all the places she has resided in. well she was born in pakistan lived there for a few months then moved to saudia arabia for 3 years and then came to canada.

she doesn't remember the numbers (she was obviously really young) so is it okay if there are no numbers?


and ques 9 asks which canadian visa office issued the visa, well she cam from saudia arabia so what do i write? or is there a specific name written on the immigration papers or something?

Your wife should ask her parents (who brought her to Canada as a child) which canadian visa office issued their visas.

For question 8 your wife should list all of the addresses, along with the from and to dates, where she has lived outside Canada. She could approximate the dates. Again her parents input would be a great help for her.

If she cannot find out the info anywhere, then she can put approximate dates and addresses, with an attached explanation that she could not find out the exact information. Don't leave any date gaps.
