Hey. In the checklist form(5533 "sponsored person") it says i need to declare family members (accompanying and non accompanying) my family members are not moving to Canada and never will, do i still need to declare them, or is it only if i have children and what not that is dependent on me?

Read the definition of family members on IRCC website. Family members in contest of this application are your spouse and dependent children (if any). Not your parents, siblings etc. They only need to be listed in IMM 5406. You applied for spousal sponsorship, right?

Got one more question. Under "supporting documents for sponson" Q5: It says we need "original letter from employer stating work hours and what not. My wife (sponsor) is self employed! Can she wright that letter herself?

Yes, you just need any proofs that you guys can support yourselves in Canada. I’m pretty sure your wife can write that letter about her being self employed and attach the proofs. But maybe senior members could confirm...
