So I submitted my application for permanent residence a week ago and today I realized that I did not scan/submit my current work permit (post graduation work permit).
I meant to include it with my passport upload, but I had to remove it to scan my passport pages (there was a stamp underneath) and then I forgot to scan it and submitted my passport upload without it.
Should I contact CIC? I tried to call but they couldn't transfer me to an agent (too busy).
Not sure if this is going to get my application rejected...
You need not. It is just that the immigration officer attached it to your passport , that doesn't mean that it is part of your passport and hence you need not make it part of your passport scans.
I had this in passport, never submitted it and my application is in PPR stage.
If at all they need info, they already have your UCI as part of your application.
You don't need to scan any permits. I personally had 3 study permits, 2 Co-op Work permits, 1 off-campus work permit and 1 post graduate work permit. I did not scan or upload any of them since they didn't ask for them. My application is approved. They already have access to all of that information and therefore don't ask for it.
Most permits now a day do not get stapled to the passport. Only the first permit I had was stapled to my passport and all the other ones I applied online for and received them in the mail without having to mail in my passport.
WP's are not needed to be uploaded in my eAPR. The CIC site does not asks for it.
Your UCI is the key and CIC can query your past, present WP's based on this UCI.
