Hi all, I came here as student in Canada, than I had workpermit and now I have PNP. I have USA visa. But I dint mention about USA refusal in any of my previous Canada application, it was my mistake, I was misguided by my friends saying they don't want USA refusal as they share database. Anyway damage is done. I am planning to mention in my pr application now, do you guys think shld I mention it or not ? If I do wil I b charge with immigration history misreprestation ? Shld I add LOE? Pls do reply guys
Were you refused entry or just refused a study or work permit in the US? I think they only care if you were refused entry and even then they only really care about why you were refused entry and if it is something that would make you inadmissible to Canada. personally I'd declare it.
Check the exact question they've asked you in the form. I'm not sure if they care about visa refusals or entry refusals only (you can be refused entry, even with a valid visa). If they do ask about visa refusals notify CIC as soon as possible (even over email) that you've made a mistake and amended application will follow soon. Send an updated application when you have it ready.
As long as you correct the error before CIC notices there should be no penalty.

thanks for your reply. I was refused student and visitor visa of USA. It was general refusal from India. Nothing mentioned on my passport or ever denied. I do hold visitor visa now of USA. I have been to USA 2 times without trouble. I am planning to declare it.Hope for best
