Hi everyone,

My stomach just sank, I sent in the application package to Mississauga, ON yesterday and I just realized I forgot to include the 8 pictures for the applicant, does anyone have any idea what's going to happen? should I send them?

Are they gonna return the package? ahhh I can't believe I did such a thing.. man I feel really stupid right now fudge...

Called CIC and the rep doesn't know what's going to happen, he says they could return it or they can send a letter requesting the pictures, that he would advise against sending the pictures alone... ahhh what a mess.

Called Canada Post and they can't stop the package from being delivered, ahhh any suggestions?

Don't beat yourself up over this, accidents happen :( if it were me, I would mail the pictures..I would write a note and your name along with whom you are sponsoring..that's what I would do, I'm sure they would match up the pictures with the appropriate file. Let us know how it goes! Good luck!

If you are PR resident you can find your client no back of your card. Send all require picture again them again. if you can not find client no then you can send along with receipt no . On the top of envelop write additional document and write client no or receipt no. I am sure it will be ok. Include a cover letter. Or you can wait if your application package return to you. Even if it is return back to you, and you will lose 2 weeks extra delay process.

I was under the impression that once your file is transferred they will go through your application and if anything is missing they will send a request.
If it were me I would probably wait until the transfer so that you have a file number to reference.

Thanks for the responses guys...

I think I'm just going to wait, the rep did say that the applicant's pictures aren't required for the first step to approve me as a sponsor, but it really depends. I'm not sure how it works, if the application is opened and checked for all documents and then put through for processing or if the officer in charge of it at the moment reviews it...

Oh man, I didn't want to lose 75 days to have it returned, but oh well... hopefully it gets put through to the Mexico office and they request the pics.

Thanks!

Hi there - I did the same thing, but they approved me as a sponsor and transferred the file to the VO. Once they approve you, they will send you your client ID number. Get your spouse to take new pictures in his country and send them in using the client ID number. It will get there faster. Just a suggestion.

hoenstly though to be cautious I would try sending them to MISSI now a couple of times...no harm right???

I forgot to include pictures, and they asked for the pictures with my PPR.

I'd send them if you have a file number, if not, wait until you do, but don't stress too much over it.
