I posted sponsorship package today with Marriage certificate and skype logs, but forgot to enclose photos. I just found the photos in my bag after my trip to Post office.
What do you think, should I post them tomorrow and enclose a letter saying that these photos relate to such a person? Is there any way to stop the postage?
Thanks!
Are you referring to pictures proving your relationship, or the passport-style photos of the applicant?
Either way, you probably can't stop the postage, and should wait until you have a file number to send them. That way, you know they'll be associated with the correct application.
what are skype logs and how do we get it?
When they send you the AOR, or the approval, you will have a file number for your wife's file in Ankara. You can then send them the photos directly with a cover letter mentioning her file the number. If you do it at the same time you receive the approval, you should be fine, no worries.

Thanks! Does Mississauga not check whether our relationship is genuine?
No, they only deal with the sponsor's eligibility, and check the applicants forms and documents making sure all is submitted correctly. It's the VO that deals with the relationship part.
Ohh, thanks a lot! You saved me from deep stress!

In my opinion you better send those photo with cover letter to CIC-M , and also send photo to aboard Vo after you receive approval letter with your applicant File No.
CIC-M does check only eligibility be as a sponsor and complete application. Visa Office aboard check relationship genuineness.
If you do not have enclose photos double then wait until sponsor approval.
It's good that photos and electronic and I can print them from the computer as many as needed. I will check with post office in early morning when they open whether they posted my pack or not. if not then I will ask to add these photos to the case.

Did you overnight it? Woud they have a 1 800 number to be contacted (non-business hours)? May be one of the scanning stops can stop they mail. I don't know how mail works there but it's an idea.
I wanna do something similar. I posted at 4.40pm and post office closed at 5pm. they will reopen at 9am, wanna be there at 9am and check with them what they can do for me.
I did this once, went to Canadapost hub first thing in the morning and asked them for the package. But she agreed to go and dig the package out just because she had made a mistake and had entered the wrong destination on the barcode ( I noticed it later that night when the tracking info showed up in their system)
I'd say it wouldn't hurt to try. Best of luck!

This is not a good idea... what would you put on the cover letter? oh I sent my application in on but forgot my pictures can you dig thru the 500 applications you received in the mail on Sept 23rd 2012 and look for the name blah blah, they will have no way in matching up an envelope of photos to an application without some sort of UCI or application number etc... that just won't work. 2 things will happen 1 the application will be returned as not complete or once you receive sponsorship approval you will then be able to send them in with a cover letter.
I went to post office as it is opened and they said that the mail is already in transit and there is no way to stop it

I did not send the pictures as I thought they would not be able to match the photos with the application, and I did not want my photos arrive earlier than applications. If it's still better to send, then I will send the photos tomorrow.
When they returned my apps they put my own UCI (PR card ID) on top of the mail. Maybe they can match the photos with this UCI?
As previous posters have suggested, wait until your stage one processing is complete and they send you a Stage 1 approval with a UCI. This will allow them to easily identify which package is yours. Sending the pictures tomorrow is pointless - they will be lost and not matched with your application. Once you have received Stage 1 UCI, send the photos with a cover letter stating what happened INCLUDING your new UCI # to your COUNTRY'S VISA OFFICE (where your file is transferred after stage 1) and ask them to include this with your package. Your UCI will make it easy for them to find it and add it in.
Hold onto your pics for a couple months until Stage 1. No one is even going to look at them until months down the road anyway. You'll be fine.
