Forgot to attach 'Fee Payment Form (IMM5620)' with 'Bank Draft'

Hello Everyone,

I made $550 payment for CEC via a bank draft payable to 'Receiver General for Canada', but I forgot to attach IMM5620 form with my application.

If you look at the form, it has more to do with credit card information, and makes it absolutely neccesary to be included if you are paying with credit card. But I am not sure applications with a Bank Draft.

Do you guys think it will create any problem in my case even though I made a payment through a 'Bank Draft' ?

Please help !!

As per document checklist the IMM5620 is REQUIRED and contains a section where you select credit card or bank draft.
So chances are your application will be returned based on an incomplete application package.

Is there anything I can do to avoid it ?
Or do we have anybody on this forum who can share their experience on the matter.

When did you send your application? if it is in transit state then try to return it back

Application has already been recieved at CIC office. Is there any alternative to re-applying again ? Can someone please share their experience in similar situation ?

You can't do anything now. If you are lucky they will encash bank draft. Otherwise wait until your application return back.

Agreed. Nothing you can do right now. Wait for the package to be returned to you. Note that you will not be refused or denied, just getting your documents back because they are incomplete. Sorry. If they don't give you AOR, you can get the money back.
Next time check all your documents like at least 10 times before sending off. I did this with my app.

And have a friend or family member check it as well!

I had a similar situation , i forgot to include my spouse background declaration form and noticed that a week later.
So i dont know what the chances of getting AOR will be.So i have mailed another full set of application before getting the first one returned.
Dont know what will happen , First App reached on NOV 15 and Second App reached on NOV 28

I would do the same. Send the form to CIC Sydney with a cover letter explaining the situation. Also, send the same form and cover letter to CIC Sydney as an email attachment too. Hopefully, if they see it in time, they would be able to add it to your application.
