I am applying for PR under the Express Entry (Canadian experience class). I am meeting the score if I put my back home experience. The problem is: The company that I worked in is no longer available. These, not a firm, I worked under the municipal engineer (consultant). We are like five members who worked under his guidance after our graduation (Roles and responsibilities come under NOC code only). They don't have any website also. Is it ok? If I claim points for my international experience under his name letter pad. He is ready to respond to the CIC if they call him.
Yes, as long as your supervisor is willing to write a letter detailing the job duties, and the letter fits the requirements, it will work. Since this is a smaller operation, you can expect that IRCC will do a slightly more extensive background check. They may call your supervisor, for example, and ask a lot of detailed questions. If they feel that something doesn't quite sound right, you can expect your application to be rejected.
However, if your work was legitimate, and you aren't trying to claim points for work you didn't do, you shouldn't worry. Your prior employer doesn't need to have a website to be genuine.
