Hi this is sam, i would like to know the process on Canadian immigration for foreign nurses.
Is it possible for the nurses to get picked from the pool by PNP ? what are the chances ?
are there any registration needs to be done at the home country
Please advise on how to proceed
Thanks
Sure - a nurse can certainly be picked for immigration.
Before you can work as a nurse in Canada, you'll need to be certified which includes taking a test. The process for each province is a bit different. Here's information about the Ontario process: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_NURSE.html
I have referred the above link but seems i need to first get my certificate assessed by NNAS prior applying to CNO.
also i would like to know the bridging programs.
if any foreign nurses have gone through please advise
thank you
