How big is the envelope it comes in, and what does it look like? Is it one of those standard brown #10 envelopes that various government departments send out?
I'm asking because I won't be moving immediately after landing, and since they won't send PR cards to a non-Canadian address, I will be leaving an Xpresspost envelope with my partner's parents so that they can drop it in the mail once it arrives. I just need to tell them what to look for.

Standard envelope # 10.
If you are not moving out of Canada, why you need to mail it?. Think about the risk of mailing a PR card.

Yeah, I understand you can get one the same day with your COPR, and was planning on booking an early-morning flight so that I can land and then go wait in line at Service Canada.
