hello there!
yah me also had applied to london visa office in May2008.
And thanx to GOD my case is almost final and on 6th.of July i have sent my police verification cerificate and residenc fee.
so now waiting for passport request only.

well this is a good idea to share experience specially from peoples who has applied and gone through this process.as every visa office have different requirements so it is better to get together here and share experience.i will apply from London office as well,so i ll be looking for your help and expertise.please share your thoughts here,specially seniors like waqash who have almost gone through this process if they can let us know what we should do?so we can prepare our documents accordingly.i hope you all guys will share your experince here.

I also applied to London. Forwarded all my documents on May 12 and received my AOR May 19. My ecas status is still "docuemnts received by visa office".

London office is slow man, compared to New delhi and Islamabad..

Timeline:

Applied Feburary 09 to Sydney

Got AOR from Sydney in March 09

Sent full set of dos to London April 09

Got AOR from London May 09

ECAS Status changed to In Process "Review Complete and Statred Processing on June 09"

Received a letter asking for Updated Police report from Pak on June 16 from London, No medicals, No RFPR in sight. Will review again in 2 months..

Sent Updated Docs July 06, reached London July 7.

I applied to London office I sent my full application on the 11th of May and reached there on the 12th of May, received AOR on 25th May. I am waiting for medical request (my ecas shows "received by visa office and pending review").

let's start from POINT 2: Identity & Civil status documents---what docs did u sbmit.
