Am I the only one that has been getting that message if I try to respond to more than 3 threads a day?

It is getting tiresome, to say the least. It either tells me that my last post was less than 30 seconds ago, or that I have already submitted that response to try again which then leads to the 30 second message ....

It is really quite frustrating, to say the least

..... and this post took me about 5 mintues, because I wandered off in the middle of it, and WHAM, I get the 30 second message .... This forum needs a serious looking at, something is rotten here

Happens to me a lot even if I haven't posted in days. I just try again later or give up. I am so grateful to be able to at least always read everything. I understand if trying to ask a question it is frustrating.

I usually have to log out and back in, to get the f'n post to `stick'.

Zardoz mentioned this a few months ago and feels that it's because this website doesn't use our real IP Address when we post to the forum. It's in the anonymous VPN that they use, and/or archaic SMF, that's causing the problem.

It's beyond annoying, but I guess we can't complain, since we're all here for free (minus whatever value we place on our time).

It's annoying but so is whenever you're tying a long reply and about to hit send, only to have the site be temporarily down and when you hit BACK, everything is erased.
