I heard British council is more professional than IDP. I have taken British council. My experience was good.

I have taken both British Council (in 2013) and IDP (in 2015) and found no difference between the two. People tend to first try to book British Council (like I did) but at the end of the day, its about which is available on your choice of date. You can go ahead with either.
