I have a valid study permit and TRV until August 2023, but I recently went outside of Canada to get my passport renewed, and I'm not sure how to get back into the country.
Do I just need a new TRV, or do I also need to renew my study permit?
Also , When I will apply for a new TRV shall I select temporary less than 6 month or more than 6 month ?
As long as the TRV and study permit are both active, you don't need new ones. Carry your old passport (which has the valid TRV) and the new passport with you to show the CBSA Officers.
Thanks for your feedback.
Incase I want to get a new TRV as it will be expired in August and now processing time is taking long shall I choseI select temporary less than 6 month or more than 6 month while doing my application?

If you are graduating in Aug 2023, apply for a new TRV, after you get your PGWP. There is no point in applying for a new TRV now, unless you plan on leaving the country again.
