Re: Folks from downtown kindly share application timeline to oath
You may want to define "downtown". This term mean different things to different people.
My husband applied around December 4, 2013 and took the oath December 20, 2014 (i.e. a little over a year total). He got RQ - so this included RQ processing time. Office was Scarborough.

Please see my signature for the timeline, I am from DT, but application got transferred to Mississauga which is super lucky.
Just curious. When they give a time frame for oath letter after test how accurate it is. In other words, was anybody ever told for example they will receive oath letter in 4 weeks and they waited 4 or 6 months for that?

It was the opposite for us. We were told to expect a letter in 2 months and it was mailed after 7 days. Good luck, G!

I am a Jan 2012 applicant from midtown TO. Took my test in April of 2014. Still waiting for my oath.
I don't understand how 2013-2014 applicants have got their oath invites whereas 2011-2012 applicants are still waiting for their oath letters. It is strange and disheartening.

Some people use that method only to put their own threads active ... if nobody write here, soon you can expect another dot, just to keep his thread up.

I don't know what you are trying to track here; but I live five minutes from St. Clair office and if that falls within your dt boundary take me in.
My file was transferred to SC office - luckily -. FYI: I met applicants from dt Toronto to as far as Brampton on my test day at SC.
