Hello there, I am moving to Canada in the coming months. Please could you help answer a few questions concerning the job market for Regulatory Affairs (FMCG/Food)
- Do I need a license (I have over 5 years work experience)?
- What is the best city to move to?
- Are the jobs readily available or hard to find?
-Any other information you think would be helpful
I am inthe Food industry recently moved to Canada. More towards Food safety/ Quality assurance. The regulatory affairs for the Canadian Food sector are different from other parts of the world.
You do not need any Licence for that , But however, you might have to do a regulatory affairs certification with the local laws.
The job market is wide open, There are a lot of openings for Food industries. The Interview process is pretty slow. You need to have the patience to find a job and apply for as many jobs as possible.
Suggest you to look towards Britsh Columbia, as they have a lot of Food industry jobs available. I am currently based Ontario and here the market is good as well.
