Flight transit visa

I am going to book flight for Toronto from new Delhi via London...do I require a UK transit visa or any other document to go to Canada ?

I have a valid Canadian student visa for Jan 2020 intake..

Make sure you are filling the information correctly and reading the exemptions list at the end fully.

Will you pass through UK border control?
You always pass through border control if you:

leave the main airport building for any reason
need to collect your bags and check them in to your onward flight

Nope it's British airways all the way

If your next flight is from a different airport or if you have to leave the terminal, or the next flight is on the next day only then you'd require transit visa.
I went through Air Canada last year from Delhi->London->Toronto and had a 1:45 hour layover in London. Didn't require any Transit Visa. Still consult someone from the travel department to confirm.

As mentioned on gov.uk website you do not need any UK visa as long as you have Canada visa.
