Flight from Bangalore to Montreal

Hi:

I am sorry to post this question in this forum. I am booking a ticket from Bangalore to Montreal. I found a good deal from Orbitz.com. it has 2 stops as following.

Bangalore to Doha through Qutar airways

Doha to Munich , Germany F.J. Strauss Airport (MUC) Terminal 1 through Qutar airways

Munich , Germany F.J. Strauss Airport (MUC) Terminal 2 to Montreal through air canada


Here I have doubt that, should I collect my check in luggage in germany and again transfer to air canada. or they`ll take care. Do I need transit visa to transfer from terminal-1 to Terminal 2.

Anybody has any experience or suggestion. please....

Hi you don't need transit visa to change terminal... Better you check with airline on collecting bags in Germany... Not sure whether Qatar airlines are in start alliance as air Canada

Yes they are. So you wont need to collect. It will be available here in canada.
