Flagpoling at Vancouver

Hi everyone,

I couldn't find a better place to post this so I decided to post my question here.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree and got my PGWP in June 2020, but my passport expires in mid-July 2022 so I was only given 2 out of 3 years of my PGWP. I already applied for a new one in May 2022 and it's still not processed.

My question is if my passport and current PGWP haven't expired yet (not under implied status), can I go flagpole for a faster process? And if it got approved while I'm outside of Canada, would I be able to apply for a visa outside of the country?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

In your case, you have to apply paper-based WP applications as per instructions on this sheet. (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...anada/work/after-graduation/apply.html#extend) . If you still have valid WP and TRV, you can flagpole too. I don't see any harm in doing that. But I would also suggest calling/emailing the CBSA and confirming with them before going to the border for WP.
