flagpoling at Pacific Highway

Hi, my family and I wants to flagpole. We’ve just booked an appointment to do so at the border of Pacific Highway. My dad has already PGWP, but still got an appointment too. The main ones who need the service are me (currently have study permit and want to change for work permit), and my brother and mom they need to extend their visas. I’m not sure if my dad has to cancel his appointment or stay with it and go with us, and also if we really need to cross the border with a car.

both of my parents have work permit, and I need to work to help with costs of living. I am 18 years now

How do you qualify for a WP though? Having parents with WPs doesn’t allow you to qualify for a WP. When does your study permit expire and will you be attending post secondary education as a full-time international student?

our permits expires march 2025. I have just the letter of acceptance to the college, but I haven’t paid anything yet tho

I still am confused as to how you expect to get a WP? Most post grads programs have already started so are you actually planning on attending college full-time this semester?

no, I finished highschool here and now my study permit is going to expire march 2025. So, instead of just renewing I want to change for a work permit

You don’t qualify for a work permit. On what grounds do you think you qualify for a WP? If you’re not studying your study permit could also be cancelled.
