Is it safe to do Flagpole? I have a pgwp and have an noc B job. And I want to flagpole for my wife as she is here in Canada on a Visitor Visa. And if it’s safe to do so what documents should I bring along with me?
Is there anyone who has done similar flagpole or the same or in the same boat?
You can always try & see - Issuance of Visa is discretionary and you must satisfy all the conditions - What is the reason to flag pole? You can apply online too right?
Yes, i can apply online too. However it’s taking so much time. And she can on a visitor visa 2 months ago and she now has only 4 months left. What if the online process takes more than 4 months in that case she has to leave the country and come back. Because it’s taking more than 4 months nearly 139 days.
What documents should I bring with me for her open work permit to flagpole? I’m on a pgwp and have an noc B job.
All I can say that it’s very easy. US side officers are cool and Canadian seems a bit rude but eventually they’ll do it if you documents are correct and you haven’t done any mistakes during your studies.

The big issue is that you have to verify when a border is open for flagpoling. Most have limited hours when they accept flagpoling applicants and may not be all days. Some also limit the amount of applicants they accept per day. For example you’d wan to show up before 8am on a weekday to make sure you get accepted for that day. Many are not open weekends because that is a busier period and processing permits is not the primarily role of CBSA.
As I said earlier, if you go to immigration consult they’re gonna charge you 700$ at least for just to inform you about the documents and what to do and what not to do at the border
