I'm an Indian citizen & I've a valid closed work permit valid until Feb 2023, and a valid TRV.
I've applied for a new closed work permit online with positive LMIA for another company. However, considering the current timelines for work permit application - I'm evaluating the flagpoling options.
Does anyone know if Indian citizens (visa required countries) are eligible for flag-poling to apply for new closed work permit? Anyone successfully done it? if yes, where & how was the process?
Hi @myskd Yes, I did the flagpole to apply for a new closed work permit. It was quite an easy process as long as you have all the right documents (job offer, LMIA letter, old work permit, passport, CV, experience letter, etc. Check this -- https://www.settler.ca/english/flagpoling-work-permit-canada/ )

I did it in Peach Arch, Vancouver, and went in the evening time. No queue. After flagpole (took around 30 minutes end to end to walk & all), they gave me an appointment for two days later, went at the scheduled time & got the permit in around half an hour.
