I have applied for an eTA and received email with approval in a couple of minutes. However, I think that I should have picked another marital status (common-law instead of single) and I think I should change it. Would applying for another eTA with correct information fix the issue? Would it take longer than the first one? I have a flight tomorrow and I wouldn't want this simple mistake to ruin it, since I've read that sometimes eTA processing time can be quite long.
What happens to my old approved eTA when I submit the new application online? Is it automatically cancelled?
