I have question regarding the first time landing in Canada. I filled Toronto as my landing option in the immigration form but i want to land in "Alberta"
Can i land to alberta and apply for PR there???
OR
If I got connecting flight and first land to Toronto then Calgary???
You can land anywhere, other than province of Quebec.
So Alberta is fine if you want to go there....no need to go to Toronto if you intend to settle in Calgary..
Immigration just needs your Canadian address to mail you PR Card, you don't need to apply for the card, it is issued automatically once you provde them your address in Canada

As mentioned by canvis2006, as FSW you can land anywhere, regardless of what you wrote on your application.
The CBSA (immigration) officer will fill out the PR application for you, all you need to do is provide a Canadian address (except Quebec). Just give him your Alberta address. You have the option of going online and changing that address in 2 weeks time, if you need to move somewhere more permanent.
Would suggest giving a friends address, where you can easily collect the PR cards from.
