Canadian permanent residents/landed immigrants returning to Canada from the United States must carry a valid passport and a valid Canadian Permanent Resident Card (PR Card).
Since I'm landing for the first time and not a landed immigrant returning, I should have no problem getting on an Air Canada plane from the US without a PR Card, is that right?!
Thanks. I booked tickets before coming across this requirement page so I'm worried.
When you got your landing document and passport back from the embassy it should have a 6 month valid entry visa as well? That's the visa that air Canada would be checking .
You would become a PR once you land .
