I wanted to know if I can apply for my first passport from outside Canada or the first passport application has to be submitted in Canada after you become Canadian Citizen. I will be getting my citizenship certificate along with my friend who will deliver after it is mailed and received in my mailbox. Anyone with experience on this will help me a lot!

You can very well apply for the first canadian passport outside of canada. the only challenge will be for you to get your citizenship certificate to you - but seems like you have figured that out.
