I mistakenly selected English as First Language while filling form for IELTS, although my mother tongue is Hindi.
Now while filling my application form post ITA, I'm planning to fill English as mother tongue, to maintain continuity with information in IELTS Result sheet.
Please suggest if it is ok, or am I required to get it corrected in IELTS Result (although I am not sure if it is possible to)?
Thanks for confirmation xpressentry. As I had earlier received work permit from CIC (& might have provided Hindi as mother tongue); hence wanted to confirm if CIC might cross-check against previous info. Although, to me it looks minor detail & should not impact my eligibility in any manner.

Hi guys- I have a similar query, I wrote English as the first language in IELTS, whereas earlier I wrote another language for my mother tongue, like for CIC's applications. What should I write for EE? Can someone please share their experience in this regard, really appreciate it.

Noted, thank you. I am concerned about CIC noting that English has been stated as the first language on the IELTS report, unlike my prior CIC-student and work applications. Would you recommend adding an explanatory note?
