I have a question regarding a part of the application form which asks for the first date of coming to Canada if different from the PR date. I first came to Canada in 2003 as a student, stayed around 3 years, at that time I applied for PR and got the visa in 2009 when I was working overseas. I entered in 2010 for a few days to get the PR status before the deadline, and eventually moved to Canada in 2011. Should I put my first entry date as 2003 or the date that I have arrived as an immigrant to live and work in Canada in 2011.

Was your residency interrupted for 5 years? In that case you may want to use the landing date for both. I believe the first date to live is for people who switched to PR while they were on temp visas. Not sure though.
