I'm a working professional and have an MBA from one of the top institutes in India. We are thinking positively about immigration to Canada. While I understand that there are many IT jobs in Canada, I was wondering about the job prospects in Canada for a person who has around 4 years of IT experience, then a full time MBA and then around 2.5 yrs. of project management role with a FinTech ( all education and experience in India).

I would recommend you go through a few IT job posting in your field on workopolis.com and indeed.ca which will give you and idea of the skill sets that are in demand.
Thank you. I have gone through the job postings. My question is more along the lines of whether the folks here would encourage a person with my background and credentials to hope for good job prospects in Canada or are the prospects somewhat shady..?
I am planning to initiate the process of immigration and hoping to get a PR post which I will apply for a job.
You have to remember that Canada is a relatively small country. There has been a small tech boom and there is a lot of pressure on the traditionnal banking sector due to Finntech but not sure how many actual opportunities you'll find. Sure you can do a lot of investigative work while still in India.
