I hope someone can help me. I'm currently in Canada (Toronto) and I'm sponsoring my family member for their PR. They're currently residing here in Canada. How can I obtain the necessary fingerprints for the HK police office? I got some information from the HK police web site but it doesn't have any forms for the actual fingerprints. I will like to submit all the information (including fingerprints) together so that there won't cause any delays. Anyone has gone through this or have ideas how to get them done in TO?

1. You need the letter from the Visa processing office to apply for the PCC from Hong Kong.
2. There are tons of fingerprinting services in Canada, Google is your friend.
3. Once you have the letter and the fingerprints, you complete the application and send it to Hong Kong as per the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/hong-kong.asp
Thanks for the info. It's what I have so far. But the link that you sent me had additional info for those applying from outside of HK:
"Visit the Hong Kong Police Force website to find out how to apply. You must provide a letter with a clear return address from the CIC office in Canada or overseas visa office that is requesting the police certificate"
But the CIC letter said to send the police certificate separate with our application or when requested. The above statement seems to negate what the CIC letter is saying.
Another thing, which is the form that asks for the actual fingerprints so that it can be taken to the place in Canada for finger printing?

1. Have you got the letter from CIC requesting the PCC from Hong Kong? You can't do anything until you get that.
2. Once you have the letter, then you go get your fingerprints taken, send the letter, the application and the fingerprints to Hong Kong. You don't require a "letter" to get fingerprints taken, just go.

Hi, PMM... I only have the general letter requesting that we should prepare to get the police certificates, but it doesn't say from HK specifically. I'm confused at this moment. I'll focus on the other parts of the document checklist for now.
