Fingerprints and Biometric

Hi good day. I applied for visa and PR for my husband. He gave his biometric and fingerprints for visa. But they asked for fingerprints again for PR. They are not using the same fingerprints for both or is it a mistake that they made?

The gouverment changed the rule in june. He will need to provide biometrics again for PR application.

Yes since 14th June 2023 you have to give biometrics again for PR. You can read more here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.html

I have one more question. I know it's not certain but what is the approx. date for medical exam request after giving biometrics does anyone knows?
Also background check is saying N/Aa at the moment. Is it a bad thing? But also it says

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Its different for everyone, some people even get both requests together. Dont worry about the N/A or if it goes back and forth between N/A and in progress.

Hi, I have an another question. Medical Exam part has changed to We are reviewing the results of your medical exam. But we didn't receive any medical request or go into a an exam. Is there a mistake or any thoughts on that?
