finger print request by E mail vs regular mail

does any one knows why some people get there finger print request by Email and other by regular mail
also my local office is Edmonton and the finger print request is from Vancouver does that mean anything
please let me know

This depends on the contact information on your file. If they have your email on file they contact you by email and if no email they will contact you by regular mail ti your address on file

i did have my e mail on the application and they said that the fp request was sent by regular mail

Did your ecas status description changed when they sent out the fp request ?

Does the fingerprinting has to be done from within Canada or can it be done from back home country if you’re there during that certain period?

Fingerprints are to be done in Canada....the mail contain all the instructions.

Check with them if they have correct email .
