Hello Friends,
Need help with finding the relevant NOC Job Code.
I am basically an IT Service Management professional and work in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework. Below are my designations and relevant experience. 2. Senior Problem Manager

Quota for this year is over, Wait for next year then start analyzing this. In the meantime you can apply for education evaluation and IELTS.
Please note: They might take out all IT NOC from next year list.
Yes, I am preparing for FSW 2014 and have got all other things including education and IELTS covered. My IELTS score is L-7.5/R-8.0/W-7.0/S-7.5 overall 7.5.
However, I am still not sure of the NOC code that I should be selecting.
Apologies mates for bumping off the thread but need your help here since you seem to have gone through the process, appreciate if you can help.
I am a Commerce graduate but have been in ITIL Service management ever since I started to work, have however found that the most relevant NOC code for these jobs is 2171 and employment requirements for it states "bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration".
Will I still be eligible to put in my application regardless of my academics or is it mandatory for you to meet the employment requirements stated by them to apply under this NOC.
Hi,
i am also having a hard time choosing the NOC code. I am working as Major Incident Manager with ITIL certification. The job titles in NOC 2171 doesn't match.

Anyone with the same situation or have gone through it, please share your experience.
Thank You

Hi mate,
Could you please help me with NOC code-
- my 3 years of full-time work experience is in ITIL working domain role title such as IT Incident and Problem Manager (2.5 years) and currently working as Problem Analyst (more than 6 months)
My copy of contract says IT Helpdesk/User Administration for 2.5 years but my responsibilities keep growing pretty quick and I was working as IT Incident and Problem Manager to which the contracting agency is happy to write on the letter of experience
Should I select 2171 or 2282 User Support Technicians??

Firstly, Commerce falls under 'business administration' that you alluded to. Secondly, Canada isn't Australia when it comes to Work assessment- you don't need a positive skills assessment for your education and work experience to get an overall positive assessment.
All they look for are the duties (roles & responsibilities) which should align with their NOC code (atleast 60-70% match).
I am also from Support desk and Problem Management background and I have selected 2282 as the NOC code. The duties match

Hey, I am having hard time in finding my NOC code, I work as software implementation specialist. But I am not able to find the correct NOC code.
Any help will be appreciated.
