Hi i want to know that can an international student finance a car in toronto or Vancouver with and idp(International driving permit) not with canadian driving license, with an Idp can i finance a car?

I don't think it's possible to finance a car. You have no collateral as an international student in Canada.

it depends on the dealership(and province). some have programs for international students to lease a car for the duration of their study permit and then return the car after that. however, you would have to get a Canadian drivers license between 30-90 days (again depends on province) Else you have to have built enough credit in Canada for lenders to want to finance you.
