Hi,

I have got admit from Concordia University for Jan 2016 intake. My CAQ is in progress and i got my education loan approved for the entire tuition and cost of living. My father does not work these days as I was working in IT for the past 5 years. My question is, since my entire expenses are covered in the education loan, should i still show any funds in account? If yes, should it be in my account or my fathers(he doesn't work).

We don't have any property. Should I submit any other financial documents to support my visa application?

Please help..

Tuition fees and living expenses fees are different.

You must calculate your entire tuition fees + $11K for 12 months (which is equal to $917/month).

When it comes to providing proof, you can show your education loan approval paperwork to cover for your tuition fees. If loan is also covering for your living expenses, then it's fine. Otherwise, show additional proof of funds

Thanks a lot for the immediate response. One more question, should I still get a GIC certificate before applying for visa? (Fully funded through education loan)

Sorry for asking for unrelated stuff , I got accepted to Concordia yesterday , I got that PDF that they sent to show that you got accepted, so next step is applying to CAQ , Do I have to submit this document? or should i accept the offer then they'll send other one? did you get anything through MAIL?

That pdf file is your offer letter. You can apply for CAQ with it. You will not receive anything else even after accepting the offer
