I'm helping my mom to apply for her visitor visa. How much money does she need to show in her bank statement as well as the amount of income she needs to earn?

It depends on her age. If she is more than 55 years, then she might not necessary have to show but you have to proof that you have the financial means. However, if your mum earns decent money, just include her pay stuff and your bank statement, status in Canada, job title etc
