Even when calculating it from Nov.2008, it still not the same as they say on the website. from Nov 2008 to Nov 2009=1 year, now we are in April in 3 days or so. I can assure that not a single case has been finalized in 8-12 mos in Buffalo and I do not know why said so.
Hi Googleman,
I agree with you. This timeline is not realistic. I applied since January 2009 till now i have only the AOR with me and no communication. Well i am still waiting or what they will say. In my own case they said it will take 18 months , still waiting for any communication from t hem.
I have changed address and faxed it and also sent it through the link online , but they have not changed my address and have not written even an e.mail to me.
@canadaford
sorry to hear about that...u sent your documents to buffalo or to NS in january-2009....even then many applications from ja 2009-july-2009 (buffalo submitted) are trnsferred to other consulates......
also we cant update our address online....but as u said u had also faxed it....that should be fine,,,,,u should sent them an email
SO Londons time line is 30% of cases finalised in 6 months, 50% of Case finalised in 7 months and 60-80% of Case finalised in 8 months
Which for us means hopefully will all be finished anywhere from July - September this year for us
We'll have the 6 months if there is a choice
Oh yes broth, good luck to you and all those applied to London office..As for us who applied to Buffalo, I hope our luck will change soon.

I think you have to send the address change by mail. There's a form on the back of your AOR you received from Buffalo. Fill out the form and mail it. They said, "Don't do it online."
canadaforall,you and i have the same visa office so i can relate to your story a little bit.
however in your AOR the visa office said if you do not hear from them in 9 months you should contact them,so why don't you give them a call.
