With regards to proof of funds for the london office; do you provide only bank stements or a letter from the bank? do you have to declear any debts you have?
and what about stocks and shares? can you include these?

1. Either of them will work [Bank statement or Banker's letter].
2. U may avoid stating your debts.
3. Stocks, shares & bonds r acceptable.

Dear friends is it compulsary at the time of full doc submission to show bank statement? if yes then is it again compusary to show full amount? i mean we are four family members and required funds are almost 21,000. Must i have the whole amount or if i donnot have at this stage how can i satisfy the visa office.
please reply,
regards.

It is compulsory to show the full POF, as per CIC requirement.

Depending on your visa office. Some visa office accepts properties as part of POF.

Thanks Qorax for your swift response

@Donx

For saving accounts it is better is to send Bank statement instead of Bank Letter
Bank letter is good in case of FIXED DEPOSIT

Bonds are acceptable but stocks and shares are not. I am very much sure.

Best of luck and Cheers

This is what CIC says:

Disclosure of funds
If you are carrying more than C$10,000, tell a Canadian official when you arrive in Canada. If you do not tell an official, you may be fined or put in prison.

These funds could be in the form of:
- Cash,
- Securities in bearer form (for example,
stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills), Or
- Negotiable instruments in bearer form (for example, bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders).

Ok, i was confused, I have given this all info just for the stage for submission of documents at Local CHC.
