I've just recently received an email and was hoping for abit of insight as to what to expect. Is this just a formality (as i've been told) or will my partner and I be interrogated? not that it matters either way, just looking to be prepared more than anything. Will this finally be the end?
The email reads:
Dear my name here
Your final determination for permanent residence interview has been scheduled at the above address on oct 27. Please be prepared to wait 2.5 hours as interviews are conducted in order of arrival.
Please present this letter upon your arrival. Failure to appear for this interview will be perceived as lack of interest in permanent residence and your application could be refused. Therefore if you cannot attend this interview, please write, fax or email this office immediately and explain why.
Please bring the following documents:
-a valid passport
-two photographs
-temporary residence document issued by cic
-proof of payment of right of permanent residence fee

Is this a Inland Application ? if so there is nothing to worry about it's a landing interview , if it was an outland application then this a Interview to clear out any concerns that CIC have and mostly its about the relationship .
This is the landing interview. They will finish the application with maybe a couple simple questions to make sure the details of the application are still valid. They will hand the PA their COPR.
