Hello all,
i am filling out application to be a sponsor wich i have to send to CICfor evaluation. There is question about merital status of my mother. What should i mark there, if my mother never been officialy merried and would not be able to provide any kind of document about divorse , separation or anything else to the embassy at the time when she will have to apply for her permanent residence visa???
should i just tick 'never merried' ???
somebody told me i can not do that because this answer ( 'never merried') only for a children.
and one more thing. when i applied for permanent visa. i have put "divorced ' for my mother's merital status in 'additional family information' form.
So could it be a problem if i will tick 'never merried' now? will they verify my permanent residence application and my mother's?
PLEASE HELP WITH IT.

1. Yes they will compare the applications, they will want to know her martial status, if you claimed divorced, they want the divorce certificate, if separated, the marriage certificate. She must have had a relationship somewhere down the line as you exist.
2. So what is actual status, never married? If so, then she better be prepared to explain it.
